What we check

The same areas every time, weighted towards whatever is most likely to be costing you.

Conversions

Are the right actions counted, once, with values? Do they match real enquiries and orders?

Ad platform tags

Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and others: firing on the right events, with the right data.

GA4 configuration

Data streams, key events, filters, cross-domain settings and data retention.

Tag Manager container

Duplicate, orphaned and misfiring tags, triggers that fire too early, naming and versions.

Consent

Your cookie banner, Consent Mode and whether tags respect the choice people make.

Ecommerce data

Purchases, revenue, refunds and product data, checked against your platform.

Attribution and sources

Unassigned and direct traffic, broken UTMs, self-referrals and lost click IDs.

Server-side and APIs

Server containers, conversion APIs and deduplication between browser and server events.

Reporting

Whether the dashboards people rely on show what they think they show.

How it works

  1. Book

Choose a health check slot, or get in touch about a full audit.

  2. Grant read access

We send simple instructions for each platform. Nothing gets changed.

  3. We review first

The work happens before we speak, so the call is about answers.

  4. Fix, or hand it on

Have us fix it by the hour, or give the list to your developer.

Tracking audit questions

What's the difference between the health check and the full audit?

The £75 health check is one hour in your GA4, GTM and ad platforms followed by a 45-minute call: the biggest problems, in order, talked through. The £337 full audit is five hours covering every tag, event, conversion and consent setting, written up as a prioritised fix list you can hand to anyone.

What access do you need?

Read access to GA4, Google Tag Manager and the ad platforms you use (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and so on). Access to your consent tool helps. Nothing gets changed during an audit.

Can you fix what you find?

Yes, if you'd like us to. Fixes are billed at the same hourly rate, small ones in 30-minute increments. Or take the list to your developer or agency: the findings are yours.

Why don't GA4 and Google Ads ever match exactly?

They measure differently: different attribution, different time zones, different handling of consent and cross-device journeys. Some gap is normal. A big or growing gap usually means something is broken, and the audit will tell you which.

Do you audit server-side setups?

Yes. Server-side GTM containers, hosting, conversion APIs and deduplication between browser and server events.
